Guardrail Inspection
Collective protection equipment such as guardrails are covered under the Working At Height Regulations. The WAHR 2005 requires duty holders to ensure equipment is inspected. We provide the following inspections.

The recommended inspection frequency for this type of equipment is 12 months but KSE can advise you if this is appropriate to your site. Our directly-employed and fully trained engineers have extensive expertise in carrying out guardrail testing, handrail load testing, and inspections of collective protection systems to ensure maximum safety for your staff and contractors.
Fixed Access Equipment Inspection
Access equipment is covered under the Working At Height Regulations 2005 and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) and requires duty holders to ensure any work equipment provided is inspected.

Steel Stair Inspection
Steel stairs are inspected under BS8210:2020 as a structural survey and our reports are created in line with requirements of PD CENTS_TS 17385 2019. If you have an audit that has flagged up inspection of existing stairs under BS8210 2020 and/or The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order 2005 then we can help.
