ACCESS FABRICATIONS

KSE installs a wide variety of solutions to help you achieve safe access in line with the WAHR2005. Fabrications

Fixed Access Solutions

  • Fixed ladders to BS4211:2005 & A1:2008. Often referred to as CAT ladders. These can be installed on many types of building fabric. These can also be installed with Latchways vertical Mansafe if a higher level of fall protection is required

  • Companionway ladders to BS4211:2005 & A1:2008. Used to access plant equipment where space or access frequency negates the installation of stairs

  • Staircases to BS5395-1:2010. Full design, fabrication, and installation of staircases for access to a variety of areas and buildings in all materials

  • Available in a range of materials such as,

  • Galvanised steel to BS199

  • Powder-coated steel

  • Painted steel

  • Stainless steel

  • Aluminium

  • GRP

Plant Access Solutions

  • Stepovers and Pipe bridges. These access solutions are essential in industrial and maintenance areas where pipework and electrical trunking present numerous hazards to safe navigation. These can be installed fixed or freestanding dependent on position and building fabric. With the explosion in flat roofs being converted to solar roofs, the management of cabling involves large numbers of stepover units to prevent trip accidents during future maintenance of PV panels.

  • Plant decks to EN ISO 14122-1:2016. Safe access to the plant for maintenance is of utmost importance and an overlooked area of compliance within the facilities management sector

  • Available in a range of materials such as,

  • Galvanised steel to BS199

  • Powder-coated steel

  • Painted steel

  • Stainless steel

  • Aluminium
