Mansafe Installation

Full-Package Mansafe System Installations

  • The Latchways patented Transfastener™ allows the user to traverse the full length of the line, bypassing the fixing points without disconnecting.

  • MSA Latchways Constant Force® posts allow Mansafe to be installed on a vast array of roof types. This flexibility is achieved by patented, standard-setting technology that allows the forces of a fall not to be transferred to the roof structure.

  • Where Constant Force® posts aren’t deemed suitable, fabrication of bespoke posts and fixing arrangements can be designed and manufactured.

  • Compliant with all relevant standards, BS795/7883/8610.

  • The Flexibility of the wire allows it to follow the contours of buildings to provide a continuous and safe connection to the building structure.

  • Flexible anchor lines can be installed in any direction, horizontal, inclined, vertical, and overhead.

  • Stainless steel components provide excellent resistance to corrosion and wear offering 20+ years of safe use in normal environments.

  • Allows for installation to new builds and retrospectively to existing structures.

  • Designed to save lives in a fall it can also be installed in a restraint position to prevent falls.

  • The small size of the cable at 8mm reduces the aesthetic architectural impact of the system.

Eyebolts
(Single Point Anchors)

Eyebolt is a generic term for single-point anchors. These permanently fixed anchors go under numerous names, eyebolts, D-rings, or manufacturer names such as Pushlocks™ or Safering™. They are designated for single-user-only use and can be installed for fall arrest or restraint use.

KSE has installed single fall protection anchors that conform to BS795 at many sites to achieve height safety. These devices can be installed into a variety of building types dependent on structural integrity.

  • Eyebolts such as Petzl Coeur or Kee i-bolt are installed for different fall protection roles.

  • Latchways Pushlock combines safety with aesthetic appeal. The removable socket leaves a small metal cap in the wall as the only trace of its important role.
